Using UX Design methods we put the client at the heart of the site design. We conducted research to ensure every interaction has a purpose and makes sense. Good user experience ensures a person has a frictionless, rewarding time interacting with your brand. We created customer journey maps and tested flows.
We also tested chunks of information using Usability Testing with representatives of our target audiences asking specific questions designed to see if our communications were effective, efficient and most importantly, enjoyable. We asked testers to work through our site and feedback where they found problems and barriers, where language was too complicated and route to information was clunky. This is observational work it’s the best way to find out if your website is working for the user. Doing Usability Testing early, and not once the site has launched, reduces friction, costs, headaches and stress.
While improvements based on research and feedback will be a constant, our testing has confirmed that we have created something beautiful, efficient, useful and reliable. We know there is much more work to be done to improve our own digital footprint and improve accessibility; it is a long and complicated road to digital sustainability but we have started and feel proud of that.
